About the Shows

Pacific Slope Championships are held in Arabian and Half Arabian: Stallion Breeding, Mare Breeding, Gelding in Hand, Western Pleasure, English Pleasure, Country Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, Ladies Side Saddle, Showmanship in Hand, Show Hack, Native Costume, Dressage, Sport Horse in Hand and Under Saddle, and, as of 2010, Over Fences and Carriage Driving.

How to Qualify

To qualify for Pacific Slope AHA Championships, you need to earn as many points as are required for AHA Regional championships in the Pacific Slope region-see map at left. This includes AHA Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and the District of British Columbia in Canada. To show in the Pacific Slope shows, your Arabian horse club must join Pacific Slope AHA.

Your club does not need to be a member when you earn the points, only when you enter the show.
